Our Philosophy
As Einstein may or may not have said, we can't solve our problems with the same thinking that created them.
Yet we live in a world that often struggles to heed this wisdom. Many efforts to create change still rely on outdated paradigms that separate parts from the whole, even though our challenges are relational, dynamic, and alive. Meeting them requires expanding how we make sense of the world, ourselves, and our role within it.
Across cultures and throughout history, wisdom holders, lineage keepers, and systems scientists have shared insights into the nature of living systems and the developmental capacities needed to work within them. These perspectives reveal deeper truths about how life unfolds and how we might orient ourselves with it. But they often remain abstract or difficult to integrate amid the pace and pressure of real-world work.
Wisdom on Earth helps bring these ancient and emerging perspectives into practical dialogue. Through these conversations, we strengthen our shared capacity to see more clearly, sense what is needed, and act with greater alignment as we navigate complexity in service of a world that works for all.
Meet your host
My name is Brandon Levy, host of Wisdom on Earth.
My main gig is Ocean Agentics, a nonprofit I co-founded to put practical technology in the hands of Global South stakeholders working to protect marine biodiversity.
I also wear a few other hats, as an organizational psychologist, systems-thinker, and meditation teacher trained under Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. In practice, that means I help people and organizations grow and change, through coaching, advising, and the occasional retreat.
I've been lucky to do this work with entrepreneurs and impact leaders around the world, and to talk about it in some unlikely rooms, from the UN and NASA to Goldman Sachs.
But the part I love most is the conversations. Wisdom on Earth is where I get to sit with people I find genuinely fascinating, from scientists to mystics, and think out loud about how we might live and work more wisely.
