Wisdom on Earth
ancient wisdom and emerging science for a flourishing future
Complexity theorists and Kabbalistic scholars.
Evolutionary biologists and Jungian psychologists.
Psychedelic neuroscientists and Andean paqos.
The Wisdom on Earth Podcast brings together people rarely mentioned in the same breath …
to explore how we make meaning of our inner and outer worlds,
and how we might relate more wisely to the challenges we face.
Hi, I’m Brandon Levy, host of Wisdom on Earth.
As a child, I was awe-inspired when things connected. I’d go into trance states drawing intricate maps of imaginary cities…
or cosplay as the Frank Lloyd Wright of Legos.
Now a big-bearded, 6'5", mid-30s adult,
I still carry that childlike enthusiasm for the interconnectedness of all things.
My curiosity led me to study the world’s great maps of reality, including living systems theory, Eastern philosophy, Jewish mysticism, and Indigenous cosmologies.
But the map is not the territory, as they say. So I went looking for the real thing…in silent retreats, intensive meditation teacher training, and ceremonies with elders across Andean, Amazonian, and Native American lineages.
These experiences offered a reprieve from my conditioned, mechanized mind … and opened my eyes and heart to a reality that is sacred, mysterious and, I suspect,
all connected.
In my best moments, I bring these ways of seeing into my work as a convener, organizational psychologist, and social entrepreneur.
After a decade of working across the ocean, climate, and regenerative space, I’ve witnessed firsthand the folly of rushing toward solutions without first stepping back to see the bigger picture.
So what on Earth do we do? vs this has left tme to wonder
How does the way we perceive shape the way we respond? Wisdom on Earth is where I explore this question out loud.
Part personal journey, part public offering, it’s a space to amplify perspectives with the potential to expand and deepen our relationship with ourselves, each other, and life itself.
Much love,
Brandon
